UFC on FX: Guillard vs. Miller, Results.

The UFC returned last Friday with its fist card on FX, UFC on FX: Guillard vs. Miller from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. The event marked the second time the UFC has held an event in Nashville. The first being UFC Fight Night: Condit vs. Kampmann, back on April 1st, 2009.

The 10 fight card was headlined by two of the lightweight divisions top rated fighters, as Guillard clashed with Jim Miller.

Guillard and Miller both came into the fight off of a loss and were looking a big win to get them back on track towards a title shot.

Melvin Guillard suffered a first round submission loss to Joe Lauzon back at UFC 136 on October 8th, 2011. Jim Miller was coming off the worst loss of his career, after he completely got dominated by former WEC champion Ben Henderson back on August 14th, 2011 at UFC Live: Hardy vs. Lytle.

The event was also co-headlined with a welterweight scrap that pitted MMA and UFC vets Josh Neer and Duane Ludwig against one another.

The UFC’s second announce team also made their debut that night. Newly hired Jon Anik (MMA Live) and UFC vet Kenny Florian took to calling the fight for the first time and are expected to do these duties for all non-PPV and Non-FOX cards.

The card turned out to be very exciting and was marked by some big finishes! UFC newcomers and vets alike delivered and made a statement.  From the first fight of the night all the way up to the main event, the card more than delivered.

The four fight main card aired on FX and the rest of the card aired on Fuel TV.
